How to Spoof the MAC Address on a Windows Virtual Machine in VMware

Here are 3 examples of how to spoof a MAC address for Windows VMs via NIC Adapter properties.

Example 1: Windows 7 VM on VMware vSphere platform, using VMXNET3 Ethernet Adapter

Network Connections > Right-click the Adapter and click Properties > Click Configure…
Advanced tab > Find the MAC Address property and enter the MAC address value
  
Example 2: Windows Server 2008 R2 VM inside VMware Workstation, using Intel® PRO/1000 MT Ethernet Adapter

Network Connections > Right-click the Adapter and click Properties > Click Configure…
Advanced tab > Find the Locally Administered Address property and enter the MAC address value

Example 3: Windows Server 2003 VM on VMware vSphere platform, using VMXNET2 Ethernet Adapter

Network Connections > Right-click the Adapter and click Properties > Click Configure…
Advanced tab > Find the NetworkAddress property and enter the MAC address value
