Cosonok dot com has been dead for a while now, I've just been using the free with blogspot - cosonok.blogspot.com - and haven't done any updates on cosonok.blogspot.com for a while.
I noticed that cosonok dot com (I am intentially doing "dot com") now redirects to a site that makes no sense to me. Looks well dodgy. When I googled the domain cosonok dot com now redirects to, I got this in LinkedIn:
"... an industry leader in the development, design, and construction of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facilities for the food and Cannabis industries of North America."
Very strange. Maybe that was a genuine company, went bust, and their domain has been hijacked too.
Strewth!
I will be updating links on this blog to remove anything cosonok dot com.
A lesson learned to anyone with a custom domain out there. It might be hijacked by dodgy people. Especially if it had some popularity. Or is it just GoDaddy being dodgy!? (I had been using GoDaddy for domain services). Perhaps it is a ploy by GoDaddy to get people to buy their old domains back.
This is the point where, if I wasn't stupid, I'd have an affiliate link to go buy Dr Dre's iconic "The Chronic" album. I'm not a big Hip-Hop fan, but "The Chronic" is outstanding 🍻
